| dc.description.abstract | Durante los últimos años en cientos de organizaciones han comenzado a implementar sistemas operacionales para atender sus necesidades de información. Hoy en día este método va evolucionando y ahora es más común que se maneje un Data Warehouse que les ayude en la toma de decisiones en sus organizaciones. Data Ware house para la toma de decisiones en el departamento de tutorías tiene como principal objetivo la unificación de la información obtenida de los alumnos del ITESI obtenido de diferentes base de datos proporcionados a dicho departamento con el fin de facilitar y agilizar la administración de dicha información para así poder tomar buenas decisiones acerca de sus alumnos mediante el estudio de analisis. Para ello se procesara la información mediante el proceso ETL el cual se encargara de transformar los datos y consolidarnos en una sola base de datos para evitar la inconsistencia de los datos, también se agregara un programa adicional para que el usuario pueda ingresar los datos y poder cargarlos de una forma más fácil para el encargado del departamento y así poder obtener información histórica de los alumnos y poder hacer lo pertinente y así poder ayudarlos en su desarrollo académico y personalmente. | es_MX |

Today this method is evolving and now is more common to use a Data Warehouse to help them on taking decisions in their organizations. Data Warehouse for decision-making in the Tutorials Department has the goal to unify the information obtained from students of ITESI, from different databases, provided to the Department in order to facilitate and expedite the administration of such data, so they can make good decisions about their students through the analysis of this information. For this purpose the information will go through the ETL process which take careof transforming data and consolidate it into a single database to prevent data inconsistency.
