| es_MX |

English | The aim is to use real time PCR as a methodology to identify the genetic fingerprint of five bacteria related to the development of periodontal disease. Purified DNA from 5 bacteria ATCC Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans 43718, ATCC Porphyromonas gingivalis 33277, ATCC Prevotella intermedia 25611, ATCC Tannerella forsythia 43037, ATCC Treponema denticola 35405 was used to amplify a fragment of 16S rRNA (for A.actinomycetemcomitans, P. Intermedia and T. Forsythia) and waaA (for P. gingivalis and T. denticola), by qPCR using chemistry of Evagreen, being able to identify molecularly the 5 bacteria. Finally it was run on agarose gel to corroborate the amplified fragments with the expected molecular sizes | - |
