| dc.description.abstract | El cáncer en cualquiera de sus tipologías es uno de los padecimientos más complejos y costosos para las naciones; su aumento acelerado en los últimos años a nivel mundial ha requerido acciones contingentes en materia científica y económica. Ante este panorama, son pocos los pacientes de hospitales públicos que son beneficiados con cuidados paliativos en el transcurso de su tratamiento.
