dc.description.abstractGuanajuato se ha caracterizado por ser un estado que siempre está de fiesta y hay una festividad que mueve a las generaciones, sin importar que sean chicas o grandes y ese es el famoso “Viernes de Dolores”. Esta celebración se da gracias a la devoción que tienen los guanajuatenses a la Virgen de los Dolores. En este artículo se quiso conocer los cambios que ha sufrido esta tradición de los guanajuatenses a través del tiempo. Por lo cual se hizo una investigación cualitativa por medio de recopilación y análisis de información bibliográfica y hemerográfica, y a su vez, entrevistas a profundidad a residentes de la ciudad dando como resultado testimonios muy valiososes_MX

dc.description.abstractEnglishGuanajuato has been characterized for being a state that is always celebrating and there is a holiday that moves the generations, regardless of whether they are small or big and that is the famous “Viernes de Dolores”. This celebration is given thanks to the devotion that Guanajuato persons have to the Virgin of the Sorrows. In this article we wanted to know the changes that this tradition of Guanajuato has suffered over time. For this reason, a qualitative research was carried out through the collection and analysis of bibliographic and hemerographic information, and in-depth interviews with residents of the city, resulting in very valuable testimonies.en
